Aromatherapy brings relief from everyday aches and pains and can be used in the rehabilitation of muscular injuries.  Essential oils have three modes of actions

  1. psychological- affects the emotions

  2. pharmacological- where chemical changes occur and interact with hormones and enzymes

  3. physiological-  essential oils are effective on how they affect the body, for example, they can help you to relax, calm or stimulates

At Beulah Tempora - Therapy Boutique we use our signature Aromatherapy technique where the massage medium is freshly prepared, whilst you wait for your massage therapy. This allows us to focus on you holistically and to assess for any contraindications.

A typical Aromatherapy Massage session begins with a confidential consultation to discuss your medical history, presenting symptoms and outcomes. Occasionally, we may seek a medical waiver from your GP. Do not be alarmed by this as this is part of our normal procedure to ensure that we are providing you with our best service.

History

Aromatherapy is a therapy technique, which dates back over 6,000 years to the ancient Greeks, to the Egyptians, Romans and to biblical times. Where fragrant oils were used for bathing, massage and embalming.

Today aromatherapy is becoming more recognised for its benefits. Aromatherapy is now used within spas, alternative medicine, in hospitals, and clinics.
